FROM THE CHAIRMAN:
Orville and Wilbur Wright taught the world “how to fly” and Paul Laurence Dunbar confronted the world about the social injustices plaguing minorities in the United States. And it all began here in Dayton, Ohio; here in a place affectionately known as “Wright-Dunbar”.
In a span of only ten years, significant progress has been made to transform this historically and culturally significant neighborhood into a vital urban center. Many partners have collaborated to leverage millions of dollars to stabilize and restore buildings, construct new infill houses, rebuild and improve green spaces and repair infrastructure in and around Wright-Dunbar Village.
Wright Dunbar, Inc. has been a tireless advocate and facilitator for the urban community and the economic revitalization of the Wright-Dunbar Business District. We continue to serve as the leading catalyst for the successful redevelopment of “Wright-Dunbar “.
I encourage you to get involved with Wright Dunbar, Inc., and to visit Dayton, Ohio to “Live The Legacy” of this great neighborhood – the birthplace of aviation. Authenticity, creativity and innovation abound!
Best wishes,
Harry A. Seifert
