Join us for 'ArtWorks in the Village,' Wright-Dunbar's Spring Celebration
The Wright-Dunbar Business Village is the place to enjoy local art and celebrate spring. Join the party and enjoy live music, community art displays, and live art demonstrations on Friday, May 20 from 5:00pm-10:00pm. Admission is free and the event takes place in several venues along W. Third Street between Williams and Broadway in the historic Wright-Dunbar Business Village.

"This is a spectacular opportunity to view arts and culture as an integral part of the revitalization of the Wright-Dunbar Business Village," said Willis 'Bing' Davis, internationally known artist and educator.

Art Exhibits:
Enjoy the work of Willis 'Bing' Davis and other local artists in a display of community art at the historic H&H building and the EbonNia Art Gallery. Art pieces from Mariella Owens, Ronnie Williams, Robert Parkey, Clifford Darrett, and Curtis Barnes will be featured in an area that is the largest art display space in Dayton outside of the Dayton Art Institute. Witness art-in-progress as artists demonstrate their techniques through different media.

Live Entertainment: Relax at the "Grillin' and Chillin'" outdoor café located at the 5th Cycle Shop lot for live music, meal specials and cold beverages. D.T. and the Total Package will groove at the Grillin' and Chillin' café from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Additionally, Smokin' Joes Café will feature an evening of poetry and jazz.

Open Houses: Many of the businesses located in the Village will be open and will provide customer specials, including: Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park, In His Image. . . Christian Bookstore, Safari Interiors, Subway, and WDAO-AM radio station.
