Wright Dunbar, Inc. to Receive $1M in 2004 Federal Budget for the Continued Revitalization of Historic Buildings along W. Third Street.
Wright Dunbar, Inc. is pleased to announce that $1M has been included in the 2004 federal budget for the continued revitalization of historic buildings in the Wright-Dunbar Business Village. The United States Senate approved the final budget on Thursday, January 22, 2004. The budget will now go to President Bush for final approval.
Wright Dunbar, Inc. would like to thank the Ohio Congressional delegation for their invaluable support in the revitalization of the buildings in the Wright-Dunbar Business Village. The village is home to the Wright-Dunbar Interpretive Center of the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park. Businesses in the renovated buildings will support both the local community in addition to visitors to the National Park.

Senator Mike Dewine, Senator GeorgeVoinovich, Representative David Hobson, Representative Michael Turner, and Representative John Boehner supported the passage of the omnibus bill that contained the$1M allocation for the continued revitalization of buildings in the Wright-Dunbar historic district. In addition, the Dayton Development Coalition and community at large have been very supportive of the efforts of Wright Dunbar, Inc.
