The Wright-Dunbar Business Village Celebrates the Holiday Season
Students from Dayton View Academy contributed their artistic talent to the Hoersting-Holtman building in the Wright Dunbar Business Village. Led by their instructors Mrs. Tudor, Mrs. Morton, Mr. Harmon, Ms. Roberts and Ms. Cole, students sketched out design concepts and worked in teams to create their vision. Special thanks to Papa Johns pizza and Subway Sandwiches for donating lunch for the young artists. Artist Bill Tudor is another individual who donated his time and talents to the project. Local artist Willis "Bing" Davis also offered a complimentary art workshop for these students.

Edison Elementary School and Ms. Tutti's Designs have also planned to decorate windows in the Wright-Dunbar Village. Wright Dunbar, Inc. thanks these students and teachers for their outstanding talent and dedication to the community!
Other activities included Holidays in the Village on Sunday, December 7th. Caroling begans at Oak and Ivy Park at 4:00pm; there was a visit from Santa Claus and a Tree Lighting a 5:00 p.m. at the corner of W. Third Street and Broadway. There were also Wright-Dunbar Neighborhood Historic Homes Tour for the duration of the event and shoppers visited Safari Interiors, In His Image, Subway Sandwiches, Smokin' Joes and Bing Davis Art Studio
