Wright-Dunbar 'Holidays in the Village' coming Saturday, December 4th and 5th.
The holidays will be in full swing in the Wright-Dunbar Business Village on December 4th and 5th. Bring your family to enjoy 'The Wright Family Christmas,' an interactive holiday party. Visit with Katharine Wright as she writes her Christmas cards, and create your own holiday ornaments just like the ones hanging on the Wright Family Tree. The Paul Laurence Dunbar house will feature candlelight tours and new readers' theatre pieces of Dunbar's holiday poetry and prose. The windows of the Wright-Dunbar Business Village will come alive with holiday art from area schools and the community Christmas tree will be lit as local choirs ring in the holidays. Santa Claus will visit and encourage children to participate in the Wright-Dunbar Business Village 'Holiday Hunt.' Visitors will have the opportunity to tour newly renovated homes decorated for the Holidays as the 2nd Annual Historic Wright-Dunbar Village Holiday Homes.
