Wright-Dunbar Business Village News
Safari Interiors
The ribbon was cut for the grand opening of Safari Interiors on September 25. Store owner David Raimey brings an eclectic collection of African, Asian and Folk Art, jewelry and custom upholstery services to his shop in the Wright-Dunbar Business Village. Authentic African artifacts as well as items crafted by local artisans give customers the opportunity to find that perfect gift- for themselves or others.
Commissioner Idotha Bootsie Neal took part in the ceremony as well as representatives from WDAO-AM, the National Parks Service, the Dayton Aviation Heritage Commission and Wright-Dunbar, Inc.
"There is tremendous potential in this area," said David Raimey, store owner and former Cleveland Brown player. Raimey says he is also excited about the synergy created between Safari Interiors and the Bing Davis Art Studio and Gallery right across the street.
