University of Dayton Students from the Brother Raymond Fitz Center for Leadership and Community study the neighborhoods along W. Third Street
After an intensive, semester-long course investigating the W. Third Street area, students from the University of Dayton made a comprehensive presentation of their findings at the Wright-Dunbar Interpretive Center. Over 75 people gathered to learn from the students. The students mapped the area, interviewed community stakeholders, and analyzed data over a three month period. They conducted an assets driven assessment, which focused on the community strengths rather than community needs. The students then presented their own recommendations based on the data gathered.A hard copy of their report is available for review at Wright Dunbar, Inc., 1105 W. Third Street.
