According to Curt Dalton's book, When Dayton Went to the Movies, this theater began as a nickelodeon known as the "Theatorium." It then changed owners several times becoming the "Enterprise" from 1910-11 and the "West Side" from 1911-12. William Lawhorn managed the theater from 1912-14 when it was known as the "Pekin." The theater also included vaudeville acts.
