Looking for a unique gift or Christian book? How about Thomas Blackshear Collections 'Ebony Visions', 'Sass and Class' by Annie Lee, or 'Ebony Treasures'? Look no further than "In His Image After His Likeness," a new Christian bookstore in the Wright Dunbar Business Village. The store also carries Greek merchandise, unique greeting cards and children's ministry items including Veggie Tales and children's books. Shop owner Beverly Hill also locates and orders items for customers and churches.
What started out as a hobby for extra money to help put her children through college, has now developed into a full time job. Hill felt a strong pull toward the Wright Dunbar Business Village, and wanted to be part of the vision on W. Third Street.
"I wanted to bring the Word of God closer to people, impact them as much as He has impacted me," said Hill.
And how has business been on W. Third Street?
"It has been wonderful, even I had no idea that so many people wanted something like this," said Hill.
