Wacongo Dance Company – FREE Program
As part of Wright-Dunbar’s Cultural Enrichment Program, a fun filled family event is planned for April 8th at 5:30 in the MVRPC Conference Center at 1100 West Third Street. The event will feature the Wacongo Dance Company, from the Democratic Republic of Congo. The program, ‘Spirit of the Congo” – Journey To Africa’, will include safari travel stations, where children will make crafts and have their ‘Passports’ stamped by members of the dance company. The Wacongo Dance troupe will perform for the crowd as part of the program. Traditional Food Sampling will take place as well. The event is Open to the Public and is FREE of charge.
